365 Cards: Day 44

Money Holder

The second task of Scor-it week was to make a money holder. I try not to give cash as a gift and if I REALLY don't know what to get someone then it will be a gift card. So I made this so that it would fit a gift card (pictured) or money.

I used double sided American Craft paper and added a peel-off sentiment on the reverse of the paper and mounted this on DCWV textured paper. I completed this masculine card with 2 blue buttons tied with string.

365 Cards: Day 43

So I am currently a week behind with 365 Cards and I am now back in gear and here is the first from Scor-it week!

I created a pocket using 3d foam and acetate, then backed it with Happy Birthday paper where the gift card can be inserted. The message inside reads: Especially today! Happy Birthday!
