Today, as the title suggests, the card was to include a quilting design. I chose matching papers, cut them into 4x4cm squares and then rotated and mixed them up from their original pattern so that no side that matched would meet. I then mounted the matching striped paper on top of the corner squares and onto a chipboard button. This was finished with a pink satin bow.
I felt that the patterns were so vibrant that I would leave this on a blank white card, which I finished with a deckled edge using my trimmer. Which can also score, so should come in very useful in Scor-it week!
Then because I was so inspired, (I never would have done squares like this) I went on to create another! Not quite in the quilting style but in the same vein.
Love this! It's so springy!! The ribbon just sets it all off. Terrific job!
