Cute Card Thursday: Challenge 55

Marshmallows and chocolate

Well when I found this challenge site, I knew I had to try it, this weeks challenge even fits in with my blog colour theme! It is Cute Card Thursday and you should pop over for some great challenges. The challenge was to use pink and brown. I knew exactly what papers I was going to use as I had just bought the Sweet DCWV matstack and it is full of chocolatey, sweet, fruity goodness that would be perfect for this!

First I rounded the corners of a pink glittered sheet and matted it on brown card. Then using another sheet from the matstack (this time brown and glittered, with chocolate written all over it) I trimmed off a section with glitter in the corner and mounted mini cupcakes. Then using a section with no glitter I added matching satin ribbon, more cupcakes and a peel-off sentiment which I coloured metallic pink using a permapaque pen. I raised this entire section with 3d foam pads above the lower section where only the cupcakes were raised: Delicious!

Oooh, you can't quite see it but under the 3 cupcakes at the bottom it says "Cupcake" in pale blue
