Truly Scrumptious: Challenge 4

Flower Power!

I have been keeping up with 365 Cards and I noticed a lot of the other 365ers were also participating in some other pretty exciting challenge blogs, so I had a little look around and I found Truly Scrumptious Challenges

The challenge for this week was to use the sketch provided by Mina with the theme: 'Flower Power!' Here is my take on it.

I haven't used a stamped image as I don't normally use stamps as the central image but normally as accents or sentiments, so I am now on the look out for some larger more intricate ones for my collection, for future challenges!

I used paper from a DCWV mat stack, layered 2 paper flowers together and secured them with a Dove Craft flower brad and then punched out mini flowers using a Fiskars punch and layered them to create a ribbon from the central flower. I punched more for the corners and added green flower gems as accents and finished the card by rounding the edges. Finally I added a raised Birthday Sentiment using the matching DCWV textured cardstock with 3d foam pads.
